Od yishama be’arey Yehuda

We’ll tour the beautiful nature of the Judaean (Jerusalem) mountains between ranges and riverbeds, be impressed by agriculture of biblical times and discuss the dangerous forest situation.

We can choose between visiting ancient ruins, crossing a flowing stream, a tunnel under the road or visit one of the classic springs of the Judaean mountains.

Every season, nature changes - in the spring some of the most beautiful flowers that can be seen in the country bloom, in summer wild fruits such as figs, prickly pears and wild berries ripen, autumn brings out the most beautiful colors and in winter we might witness flooding creeks and if we’re lucky see a rainbow. Wild animals cross our way along with the migration of birds.

At special viewpoints we’ll learn about the geopolitical complexity, see sunsets, sunrises and breathe the mountain air.
